This site is a tribute to Jack, my beloved cat. He is much loved by his cat mummy, his cat family, his dog sibling Panda, and his previous owner at the grocery shop. Jack will always be remembered for his loyalty, affection and perseverance despite his daily challenges. Although battling a terminal illness with chronic pain, Jack was determined to live his life to the fullest- snuggling up with us, begging for food with Panda, sunbathing on the porch, investigating the garden, grooming himself daily. You are dearly missed, Jack.

Lonely little boy, all black and white

Dismissed by eight bigger stray cats

Small, sensitive and longing for affection

Not feeling too good but unable to tell others

In a cold world which you had to beg for food

At last a helping hand placed you in welcome arms

You, bravely trusting, strayed inside my heart

And made a home in mine and I in yours

Oh Jack! Loving you was easy

You were there for me when I went through family difficulties

You comforted me during those long lonely nights

You soaked up all the love from our family and Panda

You made my life a little brighter and hopeful

I never wished to say goodbye so soon

Three months is too short a time!

More food to steal from the kitchen, more rats and lizards to catch,

More sunbathing on the fountain, more playtime with Panda,

More sleeping outside my bedroom window, more hugs from your human owners,

More runs in the garden, more explorations to the neighbor's abandoned house,

More toys and cosy blankets, more quiet moments snuggling up with me and my laptop...

I hate that dark came so sudden with so much pain!

Too short a time of sharing life with you

In quiet moments with you on my lap!

My heart still aches for you

I call your name but you won't come bounding forward

Panda looks for you but you aren't there in the garden

Oh Jack! We miss you so much

You'll always have a place in my heart

There is never an end to love

We are love in action

Love is a magnet

Where there is love, all else falls away

We are safe

We are understood

Love picks us up and holds us

Love never goes away

Whether it be a person, an animal or something in nature

We are magnets; we attract it and it attracts us

It never goes away

Jack is still with us

The loving memory of him will last a lifetime

He was love

He still is love
